- PDFs (reports, brochures, floor plans)
- Spreadsheets (CSV, Excel)
- Any document you can upload or link to
Directories and registries
- Industry directories
- Business registries
- Government and public lists
Maps and listings
- Google Maps and local listings
- Business locations by geography or category
How to add a source
- URL — paste a link in the chat or source field.
- Upload — drag and drop a file (PDF, CSV, etc.).
- Describe — e.g. "All gold sponsors of SaaStr 2025."
Image placeholders
Articles can include images from their folder. Use the placeholder:
/api/help-image/data-sources/screenshot.png
The image will be resolved to this article's images/ directory.
Limits and best practices
- Use public URLs when possible.
- Large PDFs may take longer to process.
- For custom or niche sources, contact support.
